Marilyn Levine: A Retrospective

Over the past thirty years, Marilyn Levine has dedicated her artistic career to the realistic rendering of leather objects in clay. She is a trompe-l'oeil master and has the ability to create any detail not matter how small or intircate. By replicating the wear and tear of the leather objects, Levine creates a sense of history and humanity. She has a substantial body of work that has stood the test of time. This catalog includes a preface by Brian A. Johnson, a foreword by Kate Davis, an essay by Dr. Maija Bismanis, an essay by Timothy Long, colored plates, a chronology by Sam Jornlin, and an exhibition history of Marilyn Levine.
