Amber Aguirre Zoom Workshop: Bunny Building

This recording is from the Zoom workshop held on January 13, 2024 from 1 - 4pm PST

Students will learn how to construct a small hollow-bodied rabbit (or other animal) out of clay.  They will also learn how to construct an effective device for hanging it on the wall that automatically tightens the sculpture securely to the wall.

Workshop is suitable for all levels of experience! Work right alongside Amber to learn how she makes her incredible porcelain rabbits!

Participants Must Have:

5-10 lbs. of clay (preferably a sculpture mix of some sort)

Slip made from your clay of choice

Banding wheel

Needle tool

Fettling knife

Serrated ribs or other scoring tool

Sponge

Various sizes of paint brushes

Scalpel or other sharp knife

Other various tools of your choice

Plastic bags to keep in-progress work from drying out too fast
