Description: Looking for the perfect gift for the holidays? Learn how to build a cat, dog, or any animal you’d like! Work first-hand with the internationally known animal sculptor, Rene Martucci, as she teaches you how to build your own beautiful animal sculpture. For personalization, you may bring photos of any animal you'd like. This would be a great way for you to create your own gift for someone you love during the holidays!
In this workshop, you will be provided with clay and glaze. A $10 firing fee will be charged, unless you would like to fire your piece yourself. Limited sculpting and carving tools will be provided. We recommend bringing your own basic sculpting tools, if you have them. These animal artworks will be roughly 6-10 inches in height, the perfect size to sculpt them in three hours with ease.
Rene Martucci is a graduate from the University of California, Davis, where she studied under Robert Arneson and Manuel Neri. Martucci has become internationally known for her dog and cat sculptures and portraits.
This will be a hands-on workshop so be prepared and we will provide everything you need.
